Cocoa chocolate also has phenylethylamine, known as mood-elevating compound, which helps to reduce depression and help to normalize stress-related differences in energy metabolism and gut microbial activities.




6. Almonds

As sources of heart-healthy antioxidants and healthy fats, almonds are a superfood that contains a good amount of vitamin B2, which helps to alleviate symptoms of anxiety, depression, irritability and impaired memory.
